:shock::bow::shock: Dont you know that the opposition coaches are somewhere right now scratching their head....and drinking something strong...While Lacy hasnt taken the field yet...one must assume he will be quite productive givin his high school results...I cant recall a 3 deep backfield of this type of ability / potential ever in college football. Was Fowler recruited with the intent to play RB / FB ? I have heard he could be looking at possibly playing LB. The staff may not have decided 100% yet...certainly a beast.

just think of ingram, richardson, and lacy... ingram was the least recruited nationally of the three..

i'm not buying into the whole "richardson better than ingram" yet..

i think that ingram has a combination of skills rarely seen in an athelete..

i'm talking barry sanders, emmit smith talent.. as for the other two.. we can only hope..

Goode looked pretty good in limited action as well. I just hope our receivers and QB step up a little more to make us more multi-dimensional.

There was a kid that came in the class with Ingram that was supposedly gonna play FB. Mike Marrow 6'2" 245. Came out of Ohio I think...................haven't heard NOTHING about him since.

Pretty often actually. But we call them H-backs. Dial,Smelly,Peak,Cody - may be leaving a few out. I know a few of the players are TE's but they line up as H-backs occasionally.

And for Saban to praise his efforts on the scout team vs our 1st string D is a pretty big deal. Saban rarely mentions players on the scout team. I am very excited to see that 1-2-3 punch next season. Something tells me that Lacy is going to be sick.

Yeah I know the H-Back but everyone of those guys are TE's except for Cody who along with Upchurch are the only ones that have actually lined up at FB. i dont even remember Huber in there at FB this year.

Your right. But one thing I love about our offense now is how diverse and ever-changing we are now. So we could see that role increased next season.
Jalston will be a very interesting placement. Kid is sick, I expect success wherever he ends up.


On another note... What do you guys think about Dareus being Cody's replacement for the TIDE package next season. Dude had a sick spin, and I bet he has a better chance of out-running Saban lol.

I agree. Ingram never goes down on intial contact. He's got Emmitt's balance and Barry's cutting ability. He's gonna be great one.
