Indiana has fired basketball coach Archie Miller, the program announced on Monday. Miller, 42, just completed his fourth season in Bloomington. The Hoosiers missed the NCAA Tournament field on Selection Sunday for a fourth consecutive season under his watch.

There primary argument for him leaving Bama would be that he has to live in Saban's shadow. Except he doesn't if he can win. I think the support the team receives shows that to be a fact.

I know the Big 10 is a really good BB conference but I don't understand why Indiana has just fallen down and can't get up.
Kelvin Sampson, Tom Crean and Archie Miller aren't bad coaches. There has to be a recruiting talent issue.

You're looking at a tournament being played in "your house" where you aren't a participant. You're looking at almost two decades where you're more likely to miss the tournament than be invited. You're basketball's version of Nebraska.

He was linked to Florida's job while Alabama was looking for a new coach as well. I don't recall hearing about him.

The name I immediately think of is Thad Matta. There were Bama sites reporting he'd been hired leaving me shaking my head in several "WFT?" moments. I could not find one thing confirming their breaking news and...well, you see why.

Marshall was the main name before Johnson was hired. Prohm a popular one before Oats was hired.
