Some of you that follow the SEC closely will know that Arkansas is a lot like Alabama—15 years ago—in the fact they have two home stadiums.

Now, it isn't as much of a home field advantage as the Old Gray Lady was to the Tide because it is almost three times the distance between Fayetteville and Little Rock. In the past, UArk has played a few games each year in War Memorial Stadium with one of those against LSU.

The Arkansas administration announced yesterday that in addition to adding Rutgers to their schedule for 2012 they've also decided to move the LSU game from Little Rock to Fayetteville.

Will this have a bearing on how the West plays itself out in 2012?

It was announced over the weekend that the next two years it will be a true home and home series for these teams with the game returning to Dallas in 2014.

I believe Arkansas gains more of an advantage playing LSU in Fayetteville than in Little Rock as I've stated earlier. I also believe the same holds true for Texas A&M.

It is Sumlin's first year coaching the Aggies. How much of an advantage does this give the 'Backs? When Sumlin took over Houston he didn't have a problem getting his offense to put points on the board. Just glancing over his first season at UH their offense did improve about a touchdown a game. Weigh that against the Aggies have lost the last two games versus Arkansas by a touchdown or less: seven points in 2011, five in 2010.
