🏈 In the Coaches Poll, Nick Saban has Clemson at #1 over Alabama (as he has all year)

Something has seemed off about the offense the last month. Maybe the teams have been tougher, maybe the injuries are taking a toll, but I don't feel as confident as I did a month ago about anyone beating us. Now I feel like maybe two teams can knock us off. Maybe Tua set the bar so high we had to come down, maybe defenses are forcing us to take the shorter routes and gains instead of allowing the 50+ yard plays, I don't know. Can't put my finger on it, but I do feel we have let a couple other teams catch up to us. Anyone else feel the same or am I just being crazy?

I don't know. Maybe teams adjusting. Watch opposing D backfield. Looks a little further back. Giving up run hoping for some impatience and if Oline can control los.
Olb seems to blitze more. Rush Tua n hit Tua
Plus lsu n msu were 2 best Ds bama faced talent wise.
Fans are more impatient. Lol
Bama is rounding into overall team. Except kicking game. Less 50s. More D control

Yep.....but they did the same when #2 was the QB. after seeing what Lane and #2 could do for 6-7 games then the DC's had a plan...make that those with the athletes to implement the plan slowed down Bama. It looks like the DC's are sending a late blitz on which ever side they can have 3 on 2 with that DB having a clear sprint to #13. LSU did that in 2016 and 2017 against #2. The old Utah pass to the H-Back would kill them but I don't Nick has that play in his big ole book.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not impatient as some, but I was thinking to myself that we just haven't looked as explosive on offense. I understand Smith and Ruggs were beat up, Tua as well, and the offensive line has a couple guys nicked. I also understand the couple of defenses we have faced wouldn't allow those explosive plays. Just curious if anyone felt we have been doing without something.
