RULE 4

Ball in Play, Dead Ball, Out of Bounds

SECTION 2. Out of Bounds

Player Out of Bounds

ARTICLE 1. a. A player is out of bounds when any part of his person touches anything, other than another player or game official, on or outside a boundary line (Rule 2-27-15) (A.R. 4-2-1-I and II).
b. An out-of-bounds player who becomes airborne remains out of bounds until he touches the ground in bounds without simultaneously being out of bounds.
c. A player who touches a pylon is out of bounds.

I do disagree with the rule. The pylon is also in the end zone and nothing above the ground should have anything to do with being out of bounds and/or the ball being dead.

So we talking about JW not a touchdown? So when UGA QB touch it for two point? Then it counted? I'm asking for a friend of my?

Did not see the UGA play. If he touched the pylon with the ball without otherwise going out of bounds the conversion is good. Waddle did not do that. His elbow hit the pylon before the ball crossed the goal line. Ball was dead at point of contact with the pylon.

OKAY! I remember them saying if he hadn't chance the ball to the left hand it would have been a TD! The UGA QB touch the pylon with the ball!
