šŸˆ In addition to the schedule, the SEC is revamping its field storming rules:

Or you forfiet the win...
With that in mind, let me offer something to think about.

When we've talked about school's being sanctioned we've also discussed how players—who weren't involved in the sanctions—suffer the penalties. Most agree it's not a fair shake.

In that situation some of those players are allowed to transfer immediately avoiding the school's penalties—like post season bans.

Here, a forfeit, would be players suffering an immediate penalty. How are they involved?

I don't see bigger fines solving the problem. Those that are storming the field don't have "any skin in the game." @rammerjammer how is a 1 million dollar fine going to stop Joe Saturday? It would put some more impetus under the athletic department but I'm not sure it would change fan behavior.

Within the past few months I saw a suggestion for the loss of the next home game. IE: UT storms the field against UGA in Knoxville? They play the next three games in Athens. The draw back to that—or maybe this is a plus šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø —is that that penalty would affect/impact the team, what, four years later?

UGA vs UT in '23 (storm field.)
UT plays UGA at home in '24.
Off two years for rotation of opponents.
UT plays at UGA again in '27 and '28.
