🏈 Imagining a Jalen Hurts-Alabama offense

Maybe the bigger question when we answer the Jalen Hurts riddle at QB, is can we stay a power run team with a strong physical identity at the LOS? Kiffin can't wait to fully install all the whistles and bells in his pro-style spread concepts. Even though I don't expect it to look like Petrino's version, with our skill set at receiver and TE/H, it can quickly gravitate to that pass-happy approach. We lost some physicality in 2014 and more than a few times we had Henry and Yeldon sitting too long in the garage.

Interesting stat... the offense is actually down 2 points to 36 ppg for the two years Kiffin has been OC compared to the prior two years 38 ppg before he took over...

Having said that... those prior two years was with a very good QB in AJ and the two Kiffin years has been with pretty average QB talent with Sims and Coker... so it's a bit hard to compare, just thought it was interesting...

For all the "it's Saban's offense" speak... I'm very much ok with the Saban offense if we continue to average in the High 30's in points per game... with our Defense, it's going to win most of the time.

The important stat is how many points for us versus how many points for them. As long as we have more, I'm good.
