šŸˆ I'm thoroughly impressed with McCarron

His decision making has been excellent thus far. I love his ability to improvise and make a checkdown pass, i.e. the 2-yard shuffle passes to Richardson yesterday. I know many will point to that screen that went through the d-lineman's hands on Richardson's touchdown and I really can't defend that.

I love his decisiveness. If it's not there, he checks down or throws it out of bounds very quickly.

What are your thoughts on his decision making? Where can he improve?

Only area I do not like is when he runs with it, he scares me when he runs with it. His decision making, and improvising when a play is not there impressed me. He must have the coaching staffs blessing, cause they are letting him throw it a lot. Poised for a first year starter, and is playing smart football.

I am just happy we won. I am really happy Arkansas missed all the INTs they could have had. The weak link on our team is the QB. It was during the first game and still is. Still, he did not lose the game and when playing for BAMA that is all the QB has to do.

his quick decision making on the short dump offs is outstanding. it really lets you know how observant of the field he is and how quick his QB reflexes are. the only thing that concerns me about his game is that he seems to be consistently overthrowing his longer routes. shape that up and you have a ridiculous offense.

I don't see him being tested (via preassure) until November. If the O-Line does its job, AJ will is good enough right now. He will need to get better before LSU comes to town. That, he can do.
