🏈 I'm surprised that Peek is not getting more praise

from the congregation for his tight end play. Thought he handled himself well for it being the first game of the season.

Particularly like how he came back to seal off the defense from GMac's blindside on Ingram's last TD.

Made a nice catch in the back of the endzone where I've seen too many open TEs muff similar plays.

that's a good point.. he is a godsend in a position that we desperately needed to fill some shoes.. i have the feeling that he will be a pretty high draft pick.. reminds me of a big jay novacek.. he showed great hands and good speed for his size.. he will get alot of catches this year.. how could paul johnson not utalize someone like him? sure he doesn't use a tight end, but if you have a talent like peek you make exceptions.. it just sucks that he lost a year of eligibility.

He played very well. Couldn't even really tell his foot is broken. The guy is freakin huge.

It doesn't surprise me at all, really. No one notices a TE unless they make 10 or more catches in a game, ala Jason Witten or Kellen Winslow. If you want to be anonymous, be a good TE. That said, I love the way we use our TEs.

Well my section was luvin Peek. The guys I was sitting next to were begging for Peek in 1st half and were downright giddy with his performance in 2nd half.

Yall I aint gonna lie, I thought it was freakin Tony Gonzalez running around out there. It's great to see a real tight end for the first time in a long time.
