I believe that not so funnymaine's career has circled the porcelain bowl and is now somewhere in the sewer. Can't say I'm sad to see his weekly "how Bama fans wathced" videos go. He had done them since 2015 and they were all the same. Something about the guy never sat too well with me to begin with. Then he made that comment either last year or the year before last about "who is this...coach before Saban that you speak of?" and outed himself as a bandwagon jumper who only came aboard once Saban arrived. And, like a lot of other bandwagon jumpers, he probably only really got on board once it became clear that our dark days were over. Granted, there is a large portion of the fan base who are teenagers now who simply weren't alive back in the Dubose/Fran/Price/Shula days, or were way too young to remember. But, this dude is old enough to have been around and been fully cognizant in the years prior to Saban. Him leading a riot in Birmingham and advocating for tearing down of the city was just the icing on the cake. Good riddance to this asshole.

While we disagree on his humor value, let's look back at this thread.

The OP was saying he isn't following this guy because of a basketball game and who 'maine told people to support.
It's mentioned how "good of an act he has because he doesn't curse."
That's blown out of the water in the tweets that he's since deleted because of his stance, "support Auburn in the final four" as a moral imperative.

BUT. Listen to this video. His "holier than thou" clean act? No. Sir. This is hate. Tell me I'm wrong.

Everything is important to someone. I think the issue with police abuse is real in some instances but it is completely drowned out with this kind of behavior. That is how I see it as a middle aged white guy that grew up in small town Alabama but what do I know?
