💬 I'm not following Funnymaine any longer > caught on video inciting riots in Birmingham

I don't hate Jamaine. Like I said, his videos aren't that funny to me. Now, with Moore? I'm not a big fan of him personally and that's due to his actions. No one can deny he's put out some great pieces in the past.

Dreamland...that's just a taste in BBQ, right? FWIW, I do like their sauce. I've not been a big fan on their product these last several years especially some of their franchise locations. One thing about Dreamland is it doesnt carry the same niche as it did a decade, or more, ago. A lot swear by Archibald's, others by Jim 'N Nick's. (BTW, when Byrne was hosting fans last season for "Lunch with the AD" his go to was Full Moon.)

Oh, and you forgot on person. We've had a different opinion on Shula a few times as well. ;)
And probably will have a few different opinions again.....nooooooo problem ever with that....
And when we talk bbq.....one of my favorite is...Bama BBQ in Northport....
Most dont know of it... stop by before games alot and have a sandwich......ribs are ummmm...and smoked wings...all mentioned are better then anything around here in TN...

Is this the one that Eli is always talking about eating at?

I've seen/heard about the place several times. You're the first person I know of that's eaten there. @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris You?

On a Dreamland note:

Our Alumni group here has ordered ribs from Dreamland a few times. Fed Ex, and then they are cooked during the game. Interestingly enough, the quality of the meat is better shipped than what I've had the last few times I visited the one off of Skyland.

And, FWIW, I've had their sauce as an injection for fried turkey...not bad at all.

I think I maybe tried it once. Obviously, I haven't been back, so it wasn't very memorable.

So sgt if you "think maybe "you have eaten there once....
But did you "think" you haven’t been back....
So changing it.....you "thought maybe " you have NOT eaten there....and since you haven’t ( Maybe ) then may be some place else you haven’t been back to....
Any of that make sense? Just poking you.... lol
Its great. Try it again sometimes. Roll Tide

Looks like Derrick Henry was not very fond of Wilson's post either nor should he be.

I will never pull for the Barn or UT in any sport. I am thinking you should either be suspended or have a full expulsion from the Bama Nation if you do:) Roll Tide.

I wonder now if Mack Wilson is off your favorite Bama players' list:

Yes, Derrick Henry will always be one of mine! :)

Maybe someone can interpret for me what is being said here? And by the way, who is this "Bucky" that keeps coming up in the basketball threads. As always, thank you for your assistance ahead of time.

Derrick doesn't agree with Mack. Bucky in the basketball threads is the HS coach at Mountain Brook HS, home of T. Watford, top in state recruit and Top 100 guy as well.

OK, makes sense with Watford. I genuinely hope this kid is not a one and doner. I'm going to have to learn to speak Twitter. Thanks
How is knowing Bucky's name "speaking Twitter?" Confused me here, TUSK.

Bucky McMillan

In the thread when the board was discussing who the next coach was going to be, I believe it was @#80 who mentioned there were those who were calling for Bucky to be hired as head coach. There were more than a few.

In Oats press conference (here's a Twitter reference to confuse you) it was almost like a subtweet...questions and answers about recruiting that led to Oats commenting on jobs he'd been offered and how he'd never used a high school coaching position to recruit or sign players. (You'll have to listen to the presser again to get his full comments versus my paraphrasing what he said.) It was a clear comment to Bucky and Trendon, in my view, without making it about Trendon and Bucky.)

(Probably a good idea to have a thread about how Oats is going to fill out his staff I guess...unless someone else starts one, I'll do it later. @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris is pretty well versed on that situation...should we volunteer him?)

I asked 2 questions. The first one was, can anyone interpret what Derrick Henry was saying about Mack? In fairness, after I got back and took another look I still didn't feel any animosity or indignation on Henry's part. But I don't read emojis and icons that well. While we are on the subject, was Henry saying the same thing to OJ Howard who was also rooting on the barners?

Bucky just came up in diff threads and I was curious if that was also more code.

I was just being lazy and not typing Coach Bucky McMillan when I made the reference. Assumed everyone knew who i was referring to.

I do find it interesting that FunnyMaine shutdown his Twitter account. Why give the social media crowd that power...

@TUSKtimes, So you know who Bucky is but didn't catch the reference? Got ya. FWIW, I've seen rumors about him that stretch from ** on the court position to the new ladies coach.

**The one rumor I don't get is this one. It's not about if he could do the job but those that have pushed his name did so under the premise that Bama needs that in-state, "Built by Bama," guy. That seems covered by Pett. (Which, leads to another thought. How many assistant coaches has anyone seen that's made it through not only one, but two firings of their head coaches and still have a job at the same school?)

Jackasses actually get mad to the point where he just said ' F it' and deleted his profile because all of the nonsense a bunch of childish Alabama 'fans' threw at him. People need to grow the hell up.

There were two ways to read the post by Josh. One, Jamaine needs to grow the hell up or fans need to grow the hell up. Both fit in this situation.

No, not until @UAgrad93 explained it. No big deal, I absolutely don't keep up with high school coaches. Until they get to Tuscaloosa.

I think Bama fans need to get used to the idea that Oats is going to bring a few of his guys on staff as soon as the new coaching search is over. Which it may already be as far as I know. Watford bio says he has won 3 state championships in a row, so "Bucky" must have it going on. Someone like Pettway might keep the door open to Bama recruits more so than a specific high school coach. I'm guessing, but apparently, Bucky coaches a lot like Oats, cause we be running. That could be a deal maker.

He has already brought some of his staff. DBO, for one. A lot depends on what happens in Buffalo.

In the thread about Trendon you can see Bryan Hodgson in Destin with CNO. The question is what happens with Jim Whitesell. He's currently listed as the Interim at Buffalo but there's no decision by their admin whether they are going to give him the full time gig or not. IF they don't and Oats brings JW in with BH and he keeps Pett as suspected there's no room for Bucky as a floor coach. (New NCAA rules eliminate him in an ADMIN role.)

As I understand the situation today we're looking at two scenarios (and with all coaching staff changes this is easy labeled "fluid.")

Oats,
Hodgeson
Pett,
Bucky / Whitesell.

FWIW, it's likely a safe assumption we see the answers by next Friday, the 12th. Basketball is in a quiet period until Wednesday. Thursday starts the dead period until the following Thursday and then that Friday basketball is back in its recruiting period.
