šŸˆ I'll say it... Saban's last year

JMO I can't see him leaving unless he wins an NC next year. I can't see him leaving with that ass whipping he just took being his last look in an NC game. And make no mistake Clemson whipped Alabama's ass. I've seen "coach x didn't do their job" "players looked entitled" etc ad nauseam. He/they/we got a wood shed butt whipping. Team game, team got beat. I think CNS works overtime even for himself between now and '19 kickoff to remedy that. JMO

That's why I say - He's leaving after his championship next season

I haven't said much but I kind of expected this year to be it if he went 15-0 with the NC

With all we are losing on the defensive side of the ball it will be VERY difficult to win it next year. I don't see it especially with all Clemson has coming back everything on offense. Oh and BTW I see him coaching at least 3-5 more years.

Imo...it's hard to get a read on him. He may be one those guys that can't live without coaching. Coach Bryant was one....he quit coaching and died soon after. Paterno another (though he may have had some guilt contributing to his demise). My point is those guys do exist and I think Coach Saban may just be one of them.

JMO but I believe Nick has won his last NC for The King. I don't think he is one to put up with much more BS from the easy button crowd of players and coaches. Those associates at his MB dealership better hope Nick can get it back on track because no way do they want that guy in their building 24/7/365.

You're sleeping on his QB... Didn't play well in the last 2 games but he's da real deal. All those receivers back... Next year is going to be fun - #SabanVictoryLap

I'm on it guys, and I'm currently vetting a number of candidates that I feel are worthy to step up in something I refer to as TUSKtimes Titanic Top Ten. As always, I'll keep everyone updated in the coming months with a number of thought-provoking post that can only be enjoyed here on RollTideBama.com. Keep those likes coming and Roll Tide!!!

Bama should be able to score 28-35 per game so that should get us 10 wins. I will go with 10-2. We're going to need for some young folks on defense to step forward and fast. We'll see.

Losing the edge guys the last 2 years really hurt. But there's usually a silver lining - Getting both Lewis and Jennings back when both would be gone is a huge win for next season. Chris Allen back... Anoma with a year under his belt. Pass rushing makes any secondary look better.... Lack of makes it look worse. If those 2 are healthy next year we will all see a difference

I guess the key is who takes #30's spot as well as #92 and #49's. Spring drills should find Nick moving around some folks on defense. Perhaps Diggs gets a shot at safety.

You mean the same crowd that has enabled him to be the best college football coach of all time? Pretty rich you blame players who sacrificed their time and bodies to provide the most successful stretch of UA football ever. Moreover, what are the coaches supposed to do, just sacrifice huge promotions and raises to appeal to some imaginary sense of how it was done in the good ole days?

to be honest, i can't believe we're actually talking about this.

we lost a game. yes, it was the most important game, but it was only 1 game. we lost the same game 2 years ago to the same team (basically) and i didn't hear a single comment about this subject.

so Coach Saban looked dismissive or tired on the sideline during the game. is he not allowed to look that way, ever?

I don't recall a game where so many things went so well for another team as that game. Normally ole Mo will wear one jersey for a period of time then switch at some point. That never happened for The King. 60 minutes of almost a comedy of errors. The pressure on Bama to win it all every year has to have taken a toll on everybody in the complex. Nick stated when winning wasn't enough then it might be time to turn in his cleats and whistle. I look forward to his to be named staff and spring drills. If there was some entitlement on his roster then perhaps most of it has gone.
