If we had 8 team play off. Boise State would be complaining, they are 12-0.

Ohio State has 2 losses and would not have much ground.

Does the 8 team Play offs bring much resolution to who is No 1 or is the Plus one good enough to bring true No. 1? Just looking at this years example.


Plus one we would have a lot of excitement in Bama Florida rematch for NC. Tx and Ok rematch would bring about a lot of interest also.

This is what I remember Saban pushing as a plus one. Get the top 4 teams play in two bowl games. Then have the winners play in a NC game that was not a bowl game (IE NCAA gets the money) a week later. Bowl system in tack. One additional game for 2 teams. Extends season 1 week. I might have not heard correctly.
