šŸˆ If Richardson dont win the Heisman its gonna be a crying shame!!

Simple ppl amused by simple things I guess...

I suppose I am. But a little saddened as well. People wonder why our children type in the same fashion. Because no one tells them they should not. All the correct punctuation and grammar on earth can't fix IM speak and make it acceptable in an environment where people wish to have their opinions taken seriously. You could have been reciting the meaning of Life and all I can seem to see is a gratuitous use of "u" to replace you.

Honestly if you want to know the real guilty party when it comes to the butchering of the English language on internet forums I find that it's mostly older generations. Most can't find their way around a keyboard to save their life. Typing "u" is already a chore. It takes five minutes for some to construct even a semi-coherent sentence.

omg u really need to stop right now. if im writing a damn column for ESPN or a freaking essay for an english class u have a damn argument. this a MESSAGE BOARD ON TH INTERNET. please forgive those of us who choose not to type perfectly on a message board, oh perfect Grammar Nazi sir...

some ppl are beyond ridiculous, would attempt to make an argument over ANYTHING.

Two things.

This is a bullchit arguement to be having.

Secondly, I agree with Pcola here. But, then again, I do work in the media industry and things that are...well, not "spelled" correctly, get on my nerves as well. (Just wait, LOL will be in Webster's sooner or later—if it's not already.)

Oh, let me add this.

While 37 writes "u" instead of "you," at least it's a coherent sentence when taken in context, eh?

'nuff said.

Curious, without RGIII, what's their record?

Without Trent, what's ours?

I would not have even responded to the dude if I was going around typing crap like "dis sh*t is da dumess argamnt n da hole worl. y u b hatn on me bout dat" or some ignorant sounding crap that i see ppl texting. I simple use "u" instead of you, "ur" instead of your, etc. Not a huge deal here.

I agree with TerryP about the post as a whole being very coherent, but that actually makes it all the more irritating to me. Seriously... such a well written post, but can't be bothered to type two extra letters. It takes more effort to omit the letters than it does to type them out. Typos would be less irritating to me because they aren't something someone does on purpose(usually).

wow ur special man... i said Richardson should win, i never once said a word about whether or not RGIII wasnt as good or anything similar. Richardson should get it (IMO) because of the better defenses hes shredded up. stop.

Richardson has played 1 defense ranked in the top 30 against the run. While he put up very good numbers against them he hardly shredded a good defense.

But I will stop and we can agree to disagree.

Have you been watching the games this year?

Looking at the stats, okay, maybe he hasn't shredded great defenses. Watching the game you can really see it in my opinion…

Richardson has played great, especially last week against Auburn. He absolutely deserves his status as a Heisman finalist. I'm not sure he is more deserving than RG3 based on watching both of their games and the significance of their seasons. I think tonight's win over Texas will give RG3 enough momentum to win.
