Dry. Geez, that area was horrible...has been horrible, for years.

For those who may not be familiar with Butler Field, its origin, etc....

You ever been through that area after we'd received a pretty good rain? I've seen it as bad as some of the outer swamp areas here in this area. Within a matter of a few minutes it can turn into a mud pit.

Seeing people choose to park there at some times left me shaking my head (or thinking about opening a towing company to pull people out.)

Yeah, I missed that as well. Wonder what updates the Moody Music building has in store? Very glad they're doing this.

The BOT approved the expansion/renovations in late October, early November of last year. I recall reading three or four articles about it published in the Tuscaloosa News.

I don't recall how much detail was found in those articles. What drew my attention was the new parking deck (and it's relation to baseball expansion, parking across from Coleman, etc.)

Now that you mention this it made me remember something I read in the article(s) published about this last fall. I thought about looking these up when I mentioned to @Bamabww info could be found at the Tuscaloosa News site...BUT, you mention UAB and it sent me on a search...
