Ok I know I am from an older generation so maybe it is just that but how could you ultimately respect and play for a clown that would do that? I mean it is all funsy but when you put the pads on and start pushing that kid or things get tough when you lose a game or two, how do you forget that memory and think I believe this HC has the ability to see us through this rough patch? I just see the thought your a clown running through my head and would totally dismiss him.

I may be in the minority here, but I absolutely HATE when a coach changes who he is to be cool to get a recruit. I think it's pathetic seeing older men trying to be cool to persuade a 15-18 year old to like him. When I say trying to be cool I simply mean changing who they are in that moment to try and impress someone else. Like Saban, Kirby, Kelly, Dabo, or any of them listen to the music these recruits are listening to. Like they dress the same. Just be who you are and sell your vision, don't be a freaking creeper and transform who you are for five minutes and live a lie.

Completely agree. Video of Saban dancing has surfaced and maybe I see it through my crimson glasses but that looked more natural for him certainly not creepy like these.

Agreed. Coaches dance, they have lives away from football, they like to cut loose, they tell jokes. Kelly faking a Southern accent and trying to be Mr. Cajun is a joke. Kirby is the same way.

Got news for both, it ain't how cool you try to come across, it's the money you're offering that they care about. Saban tells "deez nuts" jokes whileKirby lets rappers on his sidelines and in the locker room.
