U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville reported a blockbuster first day of fundraising for his freshly launched 2026 gubernatorial bid.
According to his campaign, Tuberville has raked in $2,064,723 since announcing he was running just 24 hours ago.

I've mentioned in other threads, he's the favorite, by far. Despite the obvious AU connection, he's conservative on most issues, and should take the office. His announcement could dissuade others from announcing, as they jockey to see if he's age-limited to one term. We need a young Senate candidate who can complement Britt to develop seniority.

Our current governor graduated from Auburn. I know that's neither good or bad regarding the position of governor...just saying. I've heard some people talk about him being the former coach at Auburn and maybe that's why they wouldn't vote for him. Him being the coach there has nothing to do with how good of a job he'd do as our governor.

Not bashing on you, @It Takes Eleven , at all. Just repeating what I've heard from others (not on this board).

Attorney General Steve Marshall just announced his senate run.

Wingnut is going to be a complete embarrassment for this state. Has the dipshit read the consitution since his last civics debacle? And because he'll have a (R) by his name, he'll win in a landslide. He can take his thumb and shove it up his newly purchased homestead.
