Out of curiosity, I browsed over the Tiger Rant and SEC Rant boards over at Tigerdroppings. I am absolutely astounded at the utter lack of reason and logic!

Their conspiracy theories make Oliver Stone look like childs play. A veritable squadron of black helicoptors over there!

Time, well, spent vice time well spent.

Do you suppose they are on the the new Cramp-creating laser beams we used on them? Or the Pork magnets that draw the ol' Pig skin through the up rights? (its a good thing the wrist-mounted version that Cody uses last week didn't have to be use again)

Why does everybody have to have an excuse for getting beat? I caught the old "missed call on the interception" thing at church this morning. When I tried to explain that, yes, Peterson's (?) left foot was down inbounds but he had not put the ball away and I couldn't see his right foot at the sideline, they didn't want to hear it.

If LSU had won, I would have at least given the Tigers the props they would have deserved.

Bottom line is they were 6 points behind in the game! If they had gotten the call they get the ball on their 31 yard line. Absolutely no guarantee they could go down and score a touch down to take, at best, a two point lead with a two point conversion. Then they would have had to stop us yet again from getting to within Tiffin's range. And that is if they didn't try to execute an onside kick that we would definately be ready for since the UT game. Long story short and my last breath on the subject is that it DID NOT COST THEM THE GAME. Moving on to Miss State. A very tough game!

It is pretty crazy over there right now, moreso than usual anyway.

I contribute a bit over there under a different name on occasion, relative to making points and then making fun of those that get mad at me and blow up without presenting a valid counterpoint.

The one valid point I have seen someone make about the call isn't that it cost them the game but instead cost them a CHANCE at winning it.

It was a bad call that went our way this time and I would guess if the roles were reversed we would have some pretty upset fans as well.

I disagree that it was a bad call, but it's past 24 hours so I'm not going to argue the point.
Folks need to realize that bad calls happen in sports. They happen to every team in just about every sport. It happens. Continue the game and move on......
Let's get ready for Miss St. They might have a losing record but these guys give it all they have. As we are all aware, they can be a very dangerous team.

No different than the first blown call against Smelley. That cost the team momentum and possibly points...game over it does not matter now

To LSU Fans: If you want to discuss a bad call - how about the bad call against Georgia in Georgia vs. LSU that cost Georgia the game.

I have not been on Tigerdroppings, but I can only imagine. :lance:
