🏈 I hope they will let Ingram

the guy is a great bowler, golfer and running back, I can't imagine him not being able to throw a football.

certainly didn't seem like they knew Greg wasn't covered.

Didn't we see Ingram toss one in the endzone last season? I know I remember seeing him make a throw, just not sure to who, the throw was incomplete but wasn't terrible it just looked rushed.

he threw it on a Tailback Pass, G-Mac tossed it to him and then he lobbed a lame duck to Julio lol it wasnt an AWFUL throw but just too far out of reach for Julio to get. not sure what game it was tho.

we def. have GOT to throw out of that Wildcat at some point. as we saw this week, teams are starting to just not cover McElroy at all.

i think maze could throw it though, he said something about playing qb in highschool and we had him run the formation like twice.

we could have ingram swing around before the snap, fake a hand off to him, and probably be the first team to ever run playaction wildcat effectively

Next year, get ready for Blake Sims to be the utility guy.

Maze was a "do-everything" player at Tarrant High. Like you Doe, I didn't want him to throw it. Sometimes though, you gotta make people believe that you will make them pay for leaving someone uncovered.

As for being 6 points all day long. I don't think McElroy would've scored at all. I love Greg but no way he outruns the Arky D.

Arkansas game last year provedthe value of having GMac out there, but if Mark is not going to pass and there is not enough room for a deep pass threat via flee flicker, meaning that they have no intention to pass and everyone knows, then they would be better served by pullings every skill position player other that Mark and going all Jumbo.

Yep, exactly right. The game we tried it was against Auburn, and if it were only a slightly better toss it was 6 points all day.

Later in the season, I wouldn't be shocked to see them in the backfield together in some special situations... but it isn't something that is going to happen often. Saban likes keeping one of them fresh at all times so they can rotate and keep the chains moving.
