šŸˆ I Hate Saban

I believe when one acquires a hatred for a man, one should declare the reasons for that hatred.

I am an LSU fan.

I don't hate Nick for leaving LSU.

I don't hate Nick for going to Bama.

I hate Nick because he recommended Houston "Hootie" Nutt to the LSU administration as his replacement.

Now that is well-placed hate.

Ive always thought of Nutt as a good coach....just a poor recruiter with a less than average support staff.

sorry, i cant say that a coach that had Darren McFadden, Payton Hillis, and Felix Jones (all starters in the NFL), all in the SAME backfield for 3 years and STILL couldn't pull off any form of a championship; is a good coach. just cant bring myself to say that.

Takes more than three good RB's to win a championship. Nutt has failed to recruit solid defensive players his entire career.....with the occasional good player from time to time though. Hes an offensive minded coach that has failed to draw solid lineman and solid defensive talent into his programs. As we all know, if a program isnt balanced....no championships.

I think Nutt has been a pretty good recruiter but fails more as a coach. A good coach has got to surround himself with good assistants and let them do their jobs. He had talent at Arky but failed to coach it up to its full potential. He has brought in more than 100+ kids to Ole Miss that on paper were ranked fairly high, but once again he doesn't have the wins to show it. I say piss poor coaching. As Birdman said, look at the 3 he named. Those were some ridiculously talented kids and they never won more than 10 if I'm not mistaken.

If you want my honest opinion I shudder at the thought of what Arkansas could have been had Nutt let Malzahn do his job and given him free reign over an offense that had McFadden, Jones, and Hillis.

Any LSU fan that claims that they don't hate Saban because he left LSU, and that has nothing to do with their hatred towards him is...how do I say...full of garbage. And I will ask a quick question just to prove my point.

Why don't you hate Jerry Dinardo? I would say he made more than a couple of bad recommendations during his stay down on the bayou.

Now, we Alabama fans would have the same feelings had the tables been switched around...but that's not the point. Just be happy that your team has seemingly found a pretty damn good coach to replace him. Although, be it, not quite as good.

Some of these LSU fans in and around Morgan City say they hate Saban for leaving LSU to go to Bama . . . which, of course, is a whole lotta BS! The man left LSU to be an NFL coach, which is the pinnacle for someone in the coaching profession. When he found out he liked the college game better, he returned to college football. Had there been an opening at LSU, I think he would have jumped at the chance to coach the Tigers again. He's never had anything but good to say about LSU and Baton Rouge.

I agree that many LSU fans remain extremely displeased at Saban for going to Alabama. I am not one of them. We knew Nick had his eyes on the NFL from the moment he came to LSU; that would have been true had he first gone to Bama. His experience with the Dolphins brought him to the conclusion that he preferred the college game and Bama was available.

However, although I believe Nick to be the best Xs and Os coach in college, I would not now trade "The Hat" for Nick. "The Hat" is a lovable guy who gets the job done adequately. The expectation of a National Championship every year is way out there considering the present scholarship rules. I am completely happy with a coach who makes me smile while winning over one a little better who appears to be eternally constipated.

Seems ungrateful considering he elevated your program to the heights that the "hat" inherited and never seen before in my lifetime. If Saban were to leave Alabama today and resurface at Arkansas two years later, I would at least have the intellectual honesty to recognize the good he accomplished while our coach.

I am very thankful for what Nick accomplished at LSU and I do not believe LSU would be where it is today without Nick. As I said, he is the best Xs and Os coach in the country. I am just more comfortable with Miles. Miles is a really fun coach and the players love him.

I look forward to the game and should LSU lose, the team will have nothing to be ashamed of; ditto for Bama. I hope it proves to be a game for the ages.

I don't think anything would constipate Miles.
