🏈 I don't like the alternate uni's fads ... but, gotta say, this one IMPRESSES me!

If it were anyone other than a service academy doing this it would be terrible. Being a service academy - I get it.

Now if this were (insert any school that always changes uni's) say Baylor and they had these hand painted..err airbrushed scenes of bears attacking and Baptist crosses it would be comical.

OMG! I so want Bears attacking Baptist who are fighting them off with Crosses to now be on a Baylor helmet. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

If only the Army-Navy rivalry was any good these days. Its really gone down hill and I do not know why. Its so obviously one sided I cant even watch it anymore. I do not know what has changed but its not good. There is a talent disparity that needs to be looked at. Maybe Army should just discontinue football. They are not as competitive as Navy or Air Force that are able to field much better teams.

Navy is currently on a 13 game win streak (2002-2014). But the games haven't even been close. In those 13 games Army has averaged 10.92 points and Navy 32.08 with the margin of victory being 21.15.

In the thirteen previous meetings (1989-2001) Army won 8 and Navy 5. In those games Army averaged 19.92 points and Navy 22.54 and the average margin of victory was 2.62.

I didn't start watching the Army-Navy game until I was enlisted and our SGM had us sit down to watch it while we were deployed to Somalia. Since then it has been a go to event at the end of the year. Now its just unbearable and I probably wont watch it this year sadly.

Agreed that it being for the Service Academies, it just makes it special no matter what it is. I noticed a guy playing offensive line in the NFL yesterday that was a rookie at 27 I believe. He played at Army, I'm guessing did his four years, and is now starting left tackle in the NFL. Dude was 6'9! Gotta look deep and appreciate all that these guys put in and the ultimate sacrifice they face once school is out and the rest of us go to corporate America, and these guys face bullets and bombs.

I've been watching this game sense I was a little fellow. Army was it then, as I was a Combat! TV Show watcher. Join the Army, still pull for the Black Knight, but like the other have said it hasn't been a game in a long time. My nephew retire from the Navy with 22 years and now his son is a 2rd Lt. at Ft Lewis,Washington.
So navy winning the game doesn't matter with me anymore. GO ARMY!! GO NAVY!!

@RollTideinGA , I respect your opinion but since I'm a Navy fan, I'm enjoying the Navy domination very much.

On a different thought, I've had the opportunity to visit / tour both the Air Force and Naval Academies and highly recommend it if you are in their respective part of the country.

Any Alabama rivalry I can live with being one-sided. But the Army-Navy rivalry should be a little more balanced since it is our servicemen. And then it would be more interesting. I have been to West Point when I was in the Army for us to train the cadets. Beautiful campus and a great tradition.
