But I still managed to get out and change my brakes. That was the plan this weekend anyway, so it was do it while sick or chance another week on the old ones...which was dangerous at best.
Well, my initial plan was to do them last weekend. But it rained all weekend so I couldn't get out and do it. And I don't have a garage or covered parking area so that's not a possibility. But thankfully brakes aren't that difficult to do and I got them in under an hour. Normally I wouldn't waited until tomorrow to see if I felt better. But I have to go to my niece's house for her and my sister's birthday (their birthdays are just 5 days apart). And it's not just a short trip down the road, it takes almost 30 minutes to get there and use the interstate. And my brakes were grinding pretty good, so it was today or else. But I got it done.
Would not recommend, though.
