hahaha, this opens up all kinda of WTH/WTF are they doing in Knoxville comments.

http://blogs.knoxnews.com/ward/2010/09/dooley-quoted-hitting-the-showers.html

"We've had a few staph infections, so we did a clinic yesterday on proper shower technique and soap and using a rag," Dooley said. "We put some new rags in -- y'all think I'm kidding, but I'm serious.

"We had, I told them, the worst shower discipline of any team I've ever been around. So we talked a little bit about application of soap to the rag and making sure you hit all your body. You know, you can neglect it trying to cut corners, and it shows in how you practice and elsewhere. I'm hoping we show some improvement in that."

Dooley walked into a dirty situation.

As stupid as this whole hygiene education thing sounds, it is for the best. A soccer player died at my son's high school last year from MRSA. College students living in dorms are listed as one of the most at-risk groups for MRSA staff infections.

MRSA doesn't play around. when i was in the military one of the guys got flesh eating disease in specops training, wasn't pretty.

me wonders if kiffin was giving them sponge baths...now they are lost without him

I agree with you Argo that Dooley is a class act and comes from a classy family. With that said, UT gets the Piss beat out of them this week by Oregon and I can't say I will feel bad for the Vile faithful.

I'd like to have a sponge bath from Layla, but not Dooley. What a filthy bunch of players. Disgusting. Can Tennessee do anything right? Besides beating UT-Martin? Oregon is gonna roll them this week, bath or no bath.
