šŸˆ HURT: Alabama doesn't need to name starting QB right away

I'm certain the two things that will determine the starter will be ball protection (not turning it over) and ability to manage/run the offense most effective. Granted, these are Captain Obvious type observations but it won't be who has the most potential, the most "upside", the strongest arm etc. It will come down to which quarterback can do these two things the best.

2010 wasn't a bad year for Greg, at all. I'd have to look to make sure but I'm fairly confident saying his completion rate was right around 70%. I know he threw five INT's in 2010 versus somewhere around 20TD's. If I'm not mistaken here he was just a tad under 3000 yards passing for the season.

The only INT that season—in a loss—was against LSU. (He did fumble in the fourth quarter when the OL lost containment and he was sacked.)

In my opinion, that's a pretty strong season.

His completion rate was actually a bad thing in 2010. It was so high because he refused to throw the damn ball away. It's often better to throw it into the stands than take a sack, but your passer rating looks better taking the sack.
