I went and watched his sophomore highlights ... He has a good arm , kinda reminds me of Mac with slightly better wheels.

I wonder if Coach Cutcliffe is the preferred landing spot.

I realize I'm on a pretty lonely island here, but the leading of the band stuff just isn't a big deal to me. Like OldPlayer alluded to, to the victors go the spoils... I say this all the time, but it is stuff like that, that makes the SEC so great. The little extra spice added to the rivalries...

I wouldn't turn him down!!! Good mobility with a very good arm and comes from a pretty good football family. I would much rather see him slinging the pigskin around wearing Crimson, rather than have to face him. I wouldn't be surprised though if he doesn't end up in Austin with Sark.

IMO, I think Arch Manning will want to carve his own path in college football. Payton chose ut over OM. Eli, decided to go to OM and the constant comparsion to his father had to be overwhelming at times. Both, had exceptional NFL careers. On a personal note, I would have no problem with the youngster coming to Bama. Hopefully, if he chooses another school, he will go outside the SEC but just not ohio state.

I think the coach that Arch plays for will be a big factor, but it will be far from the only factor. They are going to look very deep into things, and probably from a pretty different perspective than many other high profile recruits. Nick Saban and Alabama is going to be the school that checks all the boxes. This is about getting Arch Manning in the best possible position to be successful and ready for a long NFL career (not a secret). And the notion that the Manning's don't like Saban that pops up from time to time, is way off base and just isn't grounded in reality.
