I do appreciate what Kirby did when at Alabama

But when I think of him I automatically think of 4&1 vs LSU 2010 and Petersen going 20+ yards

As far as at UGA I think it remains to be seen

From my vantage point, it looks very much like Georgia is going to be our new LSU. A ton of talent and enough coaching to be a nemesis to our ultimate goal. The problem is that the west is still wild and Jimbo only complicates the landscape that much more. In a few years, the SEC could have 3 or 4 super teams.

Don’t sell the east short either. Mullen will build Florida back quickly and the defenses that South Carolina and Tennessee will field won’t make an easy pass for Kirby. Add Mizzou to that mix and if Kentucky can maintain...it’ll be no given that Georgia can roll through so easy.

The super teams could come from Florida, Georgia, in the east and the dogfight that continues to be the west. In the immediate future it feels like it's going to get harder.

The thing about that play it was to be a quick snap, If it was maybe then UGA would have 1st down or worst TD! When the play started the end wasn't covered, then Bama fixes that and UGA still try it and all I saw was that No#1 overall player got sacked.

Kirby is....gasp....in only his 3 rd year....great recruiting...great HS football available n state......
SECe..... (Florida only competition...and really Ky, Missouri, USCe arent built for real year to year competition...and TN...well, who knows about the Vols)...
Kirby and UGA are going to be around the top annually....

I really have been disappointed in how bama has played in both games against Georgia even though we won. Just not the same game control we have grown to expect out of bama games. Georgia does not leave the game thinking they had no chance (see LSU post game pressure). It has actually been the opposite, they leave the game thinking they were the better team.

Kirby is pretty young.....dont know age...but pretty young...

UGA is in great shape for the coming years. All the talent in the world right in their own state. UGA will be back in the SECCG next year for sure and I hope we get Bama vs UGA III. Ole Kirby can cuss with the best of them. Jack Pardee once said about Coach Bryant......"he is a world class cusser".
