I know the Hoosier program struggling isn't news. The reality of how badly is still shocking.

First time in almost 2 months is unbelievable!!! I flipped over after our game and watched the last 2 OTs and it was pretty bad basketball on both teams part. How Wisconsin is ranked is beyond me. It honestly looked like 2 HS teams squaring off for the first time following the end of football season.

The rankings—AP, Coaches, and the NET—along with conference records are more convoluted this season than any year I can remember. If we just grabbed the top 10 and threw them against any of the top 30 it would surprise me to see a .500 record in those 10 games. There are a few, very few, great teams this season. A lot of good ones, and then the bad.

Would seem a bit extreme. But coaching is absolutely everything. Even big basketball schools like UConn and Indiana can't do squat without the right top gun.

IU gets a win over Sparty today (swept them this season) to go with a few more marquee wins. They're now 6-10 in conference play and people are starting to mention the bubble again.

IF anything it shows that conference records don't mean a lot anymore when it comes to March.
