| FTBL How is Texas a quality win when the Longhorns best win this season is against a Group of Five team?

Ha! good find. The saying "Everything's bigger in Texas" applies very well to their ego especially concerning their football program.

You could say the same about Clemson. They haven't beat a team with a winning record yet. They would get beat by the rest of the Top 5, but they still have a lot of talent. Texas isn't as stacked as Clemson obviously, but they aren't scrubs.

True .....but has Bama? Oklahoma hasnt faced much either

Texas is Georgia west of the Mississippi. Usually ranked high to start the season. Lots of expectations. Manages to lose to some mediocre team and backs their way into a mid tier bowl game with high hopes for next year. /'''\`

Not taking up for Clemson as some elite powerhouse this year, but they have finally played a team who was over .500 when they played and one other who is now over .500. Clemson beat Louisville last weekend who was 4-2 going into it. A&M also has a winning record now but were .500 when they played.

True, I was thinking before the Louisville game.
