Never thought about that...but ur right...AU was selected for Atlanta over Bama because head-to-head...
But they tied for best record..each lost one game to western div team...

You have to give the Barn Complex credit. They get up everyday of their life chasing the Nick Saban Express and they defeated two unbeaten Bama teams. The Barn will spend their last dollar to stick as close to the Express as they can.

Frankly, all the SECCG did for the barners is give them 2 conference losses. I also think it's somewhat ironic that the 3 teams that the barners lost to this season are the exact same 3 teams that Alabama beat. Can we get all that on a banner?

I may get flamed for this, but I'll trade a loss to the Barn for a NC any day. I think that loss really helped us.
