some very interesting potential changes at some of the schools in the latest NCAA noose.

ohio state >> moving compliance out of the athletic department.

oregon's new position >> "Oregon is adding a new position to the athletic department administration, but it is not a standard compliance position. The position asks for four years of law enforcement or investigative experience, rather than athletic administration experience. And in addition to the providing surveillance rather than monitoring, the position will liaison with law enforcement in Eugene and coordinate self-defense classes for student-athletes and staff."

yeah, I agree, there are some real gems on there. definitely a site to visit regularly.

Interesting read. Still, the skeptic in my wonders if that is only there to help mitgate public opinion and NCAA scrutiny. In the end, if it helps keep a school in line, its worth it.
