🏈 How big of a loss is the suspension of Mayden for the first half of the SECCG?

I hate the thought of losing a starter against the passing offense we'll see from the Bulldogs this weekend.

Are we going to the dime package vs Jawjaw?

Rarely, if they do. It all depends on what UGA comes out with. If they're going four wide, yes. If they continue with their 11 personnel packages we won't see dime that often.

There's a few guys who can fit that role if we see Bama in dime--like Anderson last weekend.

I think they come out and try to be balanced with their offense. It's who they've been. They might get one dimensional later on, but that's because we made them and should be to our advantage.

UGA won't be balanced. They run a lot more than they pass this year (like 500 rushes to 300 passes) and a lot of that was not at the end of games (for reference Bama does run a lot in the 4th and is like 460 to 340 rush to pass). After seeing Auburn run at will at times expect UGA to try to push that.

Everyone needs to get together and decide whether we fear the UGA passing attack or the ground game.

We get through this and then we gotta hear the hand wringers moaning about VENEABLES!!

The way I see it after the half this will be Bama moving moment ! Just like a few games this year! The UGA QB, and running back. But think about what Bama has! Two QB's, Three/four running back, Crap lots of ball catchers!! Not counting the Defense side of the ball!

I don't think it's about choosing one over the other. I believe it's pieces of each that we have to worry about. Don't let them outside when rushing the ball, which doesn't worry me as much, and watch the intermediate crossing routes on third down, worries me the most. But both aspects are things we need to pay attention too. Otherwise they cannot match us physically, especially on their defensive side of the ball against our offense.

When in the world did Auburn "run at will?" I think some of you need to get your eyes checked.

Didn’t understand that one at all. Whitlow was like 19 rushes for 61 yards.

I think people are letting the long run that was called back and the one and only drive the barn had skew their view of the game. On that drive they did run the ball well but that was really all they did.

I guess. Even people on this board have been SUPER weird about the run defense pretending like its been awful despite the fact its the #15 rush defense in the country. Its like some people just need something to freak out about.

Honestly, without looking at the stats it felt like they were running as much as they wanted to (during the first half they sure enough were running very well). Maybe the Citadel game clouded my eyes. I do think UGA has to get their points in the first half because this defense gets meaner the longer you keep them on the field. Almost like it is a personal affront to have to have starters actually trying in the 3rd or 4th quarter. They come out in the second half closing all the gaps and covering receivers like a blanket no matter how bad they played in the first half.

Well we can't expect Georgia receivers to drop four or five passes that hit them in the chest either.
lol Good grief. Why are we even playing the game? Auburn's receivers dropped a few passes, otherwise they would have kicked the shit outta Alabama, right? Let alone what Georgia is gonna do lol Lets jump off the cliff guys!

So Keaton Anderson came in when Mayden got ejected. Shy Carter had good things to say about Anderson play but to be honest I didn't even notice that he was in. Do we think he will be in for Mayden in dime or will there be a shuffling of the deck and move someone else into that position?

Just shut up. Stidham started the game strong is all I was attesting too, asshole. He hit his receivers in the ha ds which he can't say that for much of his season. If they make some catches they sustain a drive to start the game. Quit being a little bitch and think everyone is jumping off the cliff, it's just conversation. We win this game by three touchdowns. Does that satisfy your delicate ass?

Hit DBs in the hands, too... Yeah he totally started strong, totally didn't nearly throw a pick six on the very first drive of the game or anything... Quit being a little bitch and getting so defensive. No it doesn't satisfy me because you're still a dickhead.
