Oh Gosh. I can't believe I just read this...

I'll get back to my desk in a few minutes and play around, if you are game.

you're right, the stats don't lie. But let's see who the Cats have played to compile those stats....

Aug 31 - W at Louisville, 27-2
Sep 6 - W vs. Norfolk State, 38-3
Sep 13 - W vs. Middle Tennessee, 20-14
Sep 20 - Open
Sep 27 - W vs. Western Ky, 41-3

Looks like your toughest game so far has been MTSU

There are few truths in an uncertain world, but here's one....

The team you guys are playing this weekend ain't MTSU

Oh lord, and all that against powerhouses like MTSU??!! What ever are we going to do?

pretty good stats for playing first rate high school teams and bad louisville team.

Give 'em a little credit, they are a bottom of the pack team in the Big LEast.

If you are going to feed the troll, give him something to eat that is substantial.

That's what we are waiting for you to do! :D

I, along with Big_Fan, Porter, etc., have given you guys plenty of ammunition this week as it is! :D

Refer to it!!!

He's left himself wide open...talks of #1 in the kicking return game when they've had 6 returns for 230+ yards. That's all well and good except when you take away the 100 yard return against Western Kentucky they are average, at best.

OH, which was the same team that was kicking away from Javy...

13th in rush defense doesn't mean a darn thing. Heck, Georgia was ranked what, 3rd? And we ran on their defense where?

Listing their rush defense is ludicrous even though 13th nationally is a respectable number. HOWEVER, that 13th in the nation ranks 4th in the SEC behind #1 Alabama.

THEN, if you want to pull it up and find out where their opponents rank opposite these statistics chosen, you'll get a definitive answer. (if you can call it that  )

Bottom line, they are lucky (as in shoe string tackle at the 1 yard line against MTSU) to be 4-0.

BAMA, by at least 21 in this game, if not more.

***crickets***

Hey, here's an idea!

Two weeks before Ole Miss...start digging now!! We'll expect a game preview from you and then you can handle any and all Rebs that stick their head in!!

In all honesty, I started looking at these teams right after spring camps...what's happened so far this year has just been adding an addendum here and there.

Kentucky hasn't played anybody near the caliber of BAMA.

And what about that power in Tulane, you sure showed them!!

The Tulane game, from minute one, was never in doubt.

The MTSU game, until the last second, was always in doubt.

Next.

WKU? By mid-point of the second quarter, we were playing our second string.

By the 4th quarter, we were playing our walk-on QB, our 5th string running-back, walk-on WR's and defensive players...you name it. Played 67 players in that game.

You were up 17-3 on WKU by half-time. 31-7 here...

Next.

FWIW BigBlue, I know you played Will Fidler in the game and he went 2-2. So, at least you made it to your 2nd string QB...
