A three star with offers from Oreg State, Air Force, Cal Poly, Colo State,Hawaii, NM, North Ariz, Wash,Utah and Wyoming.

None from USC, UCLA, Stanford.

Or Bama.

Outperforming all our 5 star WRs.

I thought early on that he would bring the experience and stability for this WR corps. He may not be the flashiest, but the kid knows how to run routes and get open. I wouldn't hesitate to slig it his way if I was the QB and in need of some yards.

I forget where I first read about him coming to Alabama. Said he wasn't the fastest guy, was smart, ran good routes, and was dependable. He dropped a few passes on that last drive that make me question the dependable comment, but he's certainly lived up to the rest.

I kinda figured he'd be leading the WR's statistically...

Hate it when people always compare white receivers with other white receivers for the simple fact that they are white. Will Oakley? Pretty sure Mulaney has had more catches in his first three games at Alabama than Oakley had in his entire career... Mulaney reminds me more of Kevin Norwood than anyone, not as fast tho.

Ok...then he reminds me of Chad Key, Dabo Swinney, and Clay Whitehurst

Oakley was a very good receiver...like many players during the Shula era, he stayed hurt almost as much as he stayed on the field.

And the reason Mullaney is not as fast as Norwood............he is white.

He has surprised me. I wasn't expecting much as I thought Sims, Foster, and Black would show out, but Sims got hurt, now Foster, and black has been non-existant. There is Mullaney doing what he is out there to do and being reliable. He can help us get this thing back on track and beat Georgia.

Well, not to take away from Mullaney, because he's played well, but Stewart, Foster, and Ridley might have much better stats if a pass got anywhere near them downfield. Mullaney is the short yardage, possession guy, and most of those throws have been at least catchable.

You guys got to think like I do! I don't see the color of the skin of the Bama players at all, I see is the Crimson that is on those guys back. I do like the Mullaney kid but, he did drop a pass on a drive or two.
