That's still probably the hire that baffles me the most. When Saban hired him, that is. Glad he got rid of him after just the one year. What, 5-6 years later he takes the same gig for a much less prominent team...

Yep, he's regressed. He might (or might not) scheme well, but the in-game work was slow, as in "call the damn play, Major" slow.
