The play-by-play guy was all right, but the commentator sounded like he was the love child of King of the Hill's Boomhauer and George Lindsay as the buzzard prison guard in Disney's Robin Hood. The more I made fun of him, the more I wanted to throat-punch myself.

Thompson had a tall order tonight, beating Hoover twice in a season. Hoover came out and took care of business pretty well. Our boys have nothing to hang their heads about though. They were 5 - 5 the last two seasons, which was a giant leap up from where they had been the last few years. Lots of juniors coming back, including Lia.
