Mr. Conyers is a very special man. He should be stationed over at the Bryant Museum. Over 50 years of stories! I heard him tell one about Coach Bryant, saying he needed to be there with an entire crew for a scrimmage. Mr. Conyers told Coach Bryant that he couldn't get a whole crew. Coach Bryant said find a crew or you're fired! Conyers called some basketball officiating buddies and told them to just stick their whistle in their mouths and hide their flag, he would do it all. Half way through the scrimmage, one guy threw a flag. Conyers ran over to him and asked " what in the hell are you doing?" The guy told him that it was so obvious that he had to throw the flag or Coach would chew his ass out. Conyers asked what the penalty was and the guy responded he had a block/charge foul! By now, Coach Bryant is pissed that the scrimmage has stopped due to the discussion. Coach asked Mr. Conyers what was going on, so he told him! He said that was the only time Coach Bryant was at a loss for word! RTR Mr. Conyers!!!!
