The ladies are -40 (on 13-17.)

Texas State is currently +39. I can't say I've heard of a 79 stroke lead before.

Alabama's 807 total over 54 holes is a whopping 18 strokes lower than the team's previous low score.

I played that course right after it opened--before Bama playing OU in Norman in '02. It was a tough track the first time around but got easier the more I played. I want to say I played six rounds, give or take a few.

Intimidating start: that I remember well. The first hole is the #1 handicapped for men. I say all of that to say this...

It's a shot makers course--landing area to landing area. It's also cut out a lot like OU and OSU's home courses. For the team to more than double the number of strokes under par (vs OU) is a statement. A great team round.

I doubt I could shoot a 45 on 9 holes much less -45 under on 54 holes. Impressive!
