I know Donta Hightower had knee surgery on September 28 but I was wondering if there is any word or news on him possibly being cleared to play aginst Texas. Im not sure how long it taked to heal but by the time the championship is played it would have been about 15 weeks....just curious.

I don't think he would start anyways even if he was cleared. He hasn't practiced in how long ?

With the damage he had, he definitely won't be cleared to at least Spring and won't be allowed contact until Fall camp opens I would imagine.

i read somewhere where Square hopes to be ready for the A-game, and Hightower is gonna start jogging next week. as many articles and stories as i've read on the tide post sec title game, it will take forever to find it, but i'm searching now

Don't be surprised if he is doing contact drills in Spring. It's amazing how quickly they do PT these days. When I tore up my knee (ACL, MCL, LCL), I was just getting off crutches at 13 weeks!

my nephew had a similar injury last spring playing soccer. he still is not 100%. i know he has not pushed himself as much as hightower has but still
