🏈 High Tide Or Wild Cat?

I like all of the suggestions so far but just throwing out something random...how about the "Undertow" offense-haha it draws all the defense in. Just kidding with that, but as far as us resorting to this type of play calling- I really do not see a problem with it. I think if we can develop it a little more to the point where Gmac is a threat and it isn't an obvious direct run then it could be effective. However, IMHO I believe it was more for the benefit of taking off the edge of Gmac than establishing a new system. :elephant:

Coach has always called that formation "wild cat". He completely misunderstood the reporters question when asked what he (Saban) called it. The reporter should have asked...

"With it being the Wild Hog at Arkansas, the Wild Reb at Ole miss, what will it be called at Alabama the Wild Tide?"

With that being said, I personally like the Wild Elephant. It fits the pattern of Wild (insert mascot here). :hyper:
I doubt he misunderstood the question.. lol :) I would love to hear someone ask him again just to hear him rip another reporter another one...

IMHO the wild cat just doesn't fit. But CNS can and will call it whatever he wants.

my new favorite!

"Wild relevant to our offensive play."
