Since we have several football savants on this board, thought it might be interesting to hear opinions on offensive and defensive strategies. Here's an offensive suggestion for CNS and Daboll....lots of touches for Jacobs. This is pretty amazing stat!

I happen to agree here. Jacobs and Harris need more touches. Keep the clock running, and their Yards Per Touch is amazing and will net us some nice drives. You'd have to be a fool not to get the ball in their hands in some way, shape, or form. I also think we need to find a way to get Ruggs and Robert Foster involved to help take the spotlight off Ridley. Those two have amazing speed and if we can get a little help up front with our backs stepping in with the linemen, we can throw the ball well.

On defense, we need to find a way to help our three down linemen get off the ball and get some push. I guess that means we need some speed to blitz. Dylan Moses off the edge would be great, because that allows a more mature player to read pass coverage while we send him with his hair on fire like we do Evans. I have always liked our safety and corner blitzes because those guys are damn fast and shoot through those gaps before the linemen even know what to block. I would like to see a different gameplan than in recent weeks, and we should since Auburn is a little more like our own offense rather than what LSU and Mississippi State ran.
