Unfortunately we don't have the beef up front on either line to do much this year, as they are all relatively young, as was pointed out before the game.

South Carolina let about 13 points slip away due to penalties and the missed gift wrapped TD Garcia overthrew.

I got to hand it to Bama's defense, they are the real deal. Rolando McClain is the next great LB for the NFL, no doubt about that in my mind. Terrance Cody is great as well. Maybe my Cowboys will pick them up for their 3-4...

Mark Ingram is the best running back in CFB, period. Everyone knew who was getting the ball, and we couldn't even stop it. Not one back in CFB has been that dominant since Adrian Peterson.

I'll be sticking around here while I await our next game in Columbia.

Thanks....I REALLY like Spurrier and I wish he could win again like he did before. SC is for real. I think you guys will give Florida all they want when you play them in a few weeks. SC is right on the verge of turning the corner and compteting with Florida every year for the East.

Not sure if anyone noticed or if it has even been posted but if arenas would have played USCe might have had 2 more touchdowns. They tried to use #1's height all game and i think if arenas was covering him then they would have exploited it all night.

Y'all have a great D. I really think South Carolina can beat the fighting Tebows of Florida - just focus on containing his royal highness and you take out more than half of their offense. I also think Garcia is grossly under-rated. If he has a big day, I see UF going down.

Garcia made a lot of good plays, and he impressed me. And the Gamecock defense is really good,too.

i am becoming a garcia fan as well.. spurrior has always expected alot from his QB's and if garcia is not on the sidelines he is improving at a unbelievable rate.. that is a fact.. you have the best defensive we have faced all year.. when ingram rolls up yardage that means that all else has failed.. a defensive unit's first goal is to make an offensive 1 dimensional.. i would say you deffinately succeded on that one.. offensively i think you put up the best numbers as anyone against us this year.. go kick tebow in the mouth so he will be too sore to kiss meyer..

Garcia played far better against us than Mallett, Snead, or Tyrod Taylor. He has come a long way. After that 1st quarter int he kept a cool head even when he was under a lot of pressure.
