I know, I know. I patently dislIke Clay Travis as much as any Bama fan worth their salt. And in no way am I advocating for him or his website, but this is actually a good read. The rare diamond you find in the field ripe with antelope and gazelle shit in Africa. Very complimentary of Saban and Bama in speaking rare truth in this from-the-mailbag piece.

Because Nick Saban has murdered SEC coaching.



In trying to find their own Saban LSU, Georgia and Tennessee have all fired three of the most successful coaches in school history. Les Miles, Mark Richt and Phil Fulmer all won 75% of their games and all three got fired because they couldn't beat Saban. That's because Saban has set an unrealistic standard for successs now in the SEC.

Next season the SEC is going to get a major leap in QB talent. With the overall deep south talent continuing to pour into the conference predicting the SEC's demise will prove to be extremely premature and otherwise awfully wrong.
