🏀 Has an SEC regular season champion ever been left out of the dance?

If Bama wins out, they are the SEC regular season champs. They would have a quality win over Florida if that happens. However, there's a chance they might not make the dance.

Has the champ ever been excluded?

Well its a long shot but we could if we played like we did versus South Carolina in the first half.

Kentucky is probably out of the tournament discussion. So we could replace them I guess.

Lets pray extra harder to the basketball gods.

Last year Washington won the PAC-12 regular season championship and was left out of the NCAA tourney. I'm with Joe, if we beat eveyone besides UF, I think we make it. I also think if we beat LSU on Saturday, we'll make it because Ole Miss is in freefall right now.

OM was in before last night's loss. Beating LSU and OM on the road should secure our place.
I agree about UK. They struggled to win at home versus Vandy last night. I will be surprised if they get in.

We definitely need to bring our A game. The guys need to bring max energy and concentration to every game from here on.

CAG's teams play with more hustle and energy pretty much at all time more than any CMG team did. But, I can't figure out why it seems they always take 5 or 8 minutes a game where they look like they are lagging or something. With the lack of bodies to sub out, could it be fatigue?

Fatigue, small mental errors, frustration.

We have a pretty deep bench especially when Steel is available. Obasawan (sp) brought some real energy the other night against MS. Big understatement....our problem is offense pure and simple. More than once we had 3 on 1 fast breaks and didn't score.
