He's onto something I think, but it's the way ALL foods are processed these days. You have to be conscious about the foods you eat. Plenty of health articles out there, but read below and you might not think he's as crazy for this instance.

No. It's coming from the midwest--raised and processed by Amish in Ohio (Pleasant Valley Poultry is one that comes to mind.)
HUGE differences in the way they're raised and just as important processed.

I had a seminar in New College at UA that took us on a "field trip" to Tyson one week. I didn't eat chicken, period, for three years until I came across alternatives like those.

When I was in college (and while I was doing freelance) I worked as a security guard at a chicken plant... My God, it was hideous. People would literally sneak out raw chicken in their underwear, too. I still love and eat chicken, though lol
