Nick and Terry Saban celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary on Monday.
Coach met Miss Terry at a 4-H science camp in the 8th grade. A few years later Nick took Miss Terry on a first date to see GONE WITH THE WIND.
According to Monte Burke's book, coach would hitchhike 9 miles to see her in West Virginia.
December 1971 they surprised their families by getting married while home from college.
Coach was at Kent State and Terry was at West Virginia. They wee 21.
