🏈 Gulf Shores grad working second recruiting job with an SEC school

Nick Saban was in the spotlight when he became Alabama's football coach in 2007, but there was also someone joining the Crimson Tide family behind the scenes.

That same year, Gulf Shores High graduate Lee Davis was starting out as a student at the Capstone and as a member of the UA recruiting department.

"I always knew I wanted to work in sports because I've been around it my entire life," said Davis, whose father, Duane, is an assistant coach at Spanish Fort and former head coach at GSHS. "When I got to Alabama, I saw that there were opportunities for women in football. A lot of people don't understand how much behind-the-scenes work goes on.
