With Greg, fans, regardless of school colors, seem to like him a lot. Not sure what he is doing wrong. No one at ESPN is allowed to be well liked by all.

Could not update my original post, just ignorance on my part.

I like GMac as an analyst. He is razor sharp and breaks down the game well without injecting his spin or agenda. I have seen him catch hell for, IMO, not being a total Bama homer but I don't need him to be a homer for anybody. I enjoy listening to someone who can be balanced and give good commentary.

True, not seen much shade thrown his way by fans of other schools, even rivals. Somewhat the same for Rece Davis, although he is just a grad and not a former player. I tell you one former Bama guy who looks to never make it past local stuff, that would be JPW, he is not very confident in the AL.com vids I have seen.
