Love some of the insight into CNS they share in this article. Yet people still see him in a different light.

Just to add a bit more to the background, I have a cousin whose daughter was/is an advisor at Eulee HS. Derrick is a high character kid, but he comes from a tough background, to the point that there were times that he did not know from one night to the next where he would be sleeping. There were undesirable influences among those he grew up with, and one of the factors that kept him from going to Gainesville is that Gainesville was not far enough away from Eulee.

I've worked with quite a few people in the military that joined.....only to be stationed right back in the same place they grew up. I had to get away from home. And im glad i did.

One thing we've always known...other schools talk about what will happen at Alabama, and Alabama will talk about what will happen at Alabama.

I remember this being an issue with Trent too. He said something like he knew he wanted to go to Alabama because all the other schools recruiting him all they did was try and trash Alabama. Envy breeds animosity, my friends.
