I wonder what an " All Century Team" 1918-2018 would look like... a lot different for sure

Pretty cool we won the natty on the 100th year of playing football at Bama. And then again on the 125th year, we win the natty again. But to answer your question, a lot different. 2 Heisman winners, the Saban era, and just what talent is on today's team would change a lot of the pecking order.

Lee Roy Jordan 6’1”, by his own admission never weighed over 205 pounds. In his last game against Oklahoma he made 31 tackles, they ran 60 offensive plays. I was a student at Bama and the word around campus was that he had limited drills because he was prone to injuring other players (his teammates). There are too many excellent players to name them all, just hope we do not forget Leroy.

Kind of like John Mitchell and John Hannah. This picture was taken right before I pancaked Mr. Hannah in 1972. Coach Bryant taught me that the low man wins in blocking. Hard for John Hannah to get lower than me that day!
