🏈 GMAC or Mallet??

Who are you starting this weekend if you have both on your fantasy team? Thus far I have started Mallet and he has put up great numbers but I know last year GMAC actually put up better numbers in this game than Mallet.

If you can objectively pick one (no homer pick) which would you start? Thanks

Start with McElroy. After the half, I expect he will only see a drive or two, and Mallet will be scrambling when he is on the field.

in a game where mistakes may well decide the winner, i take GMac. Mallett is errant with his throws under pressure and got lucky a couple of times against georgia with bad throws. Gmac rarely throws a ball that can be picked off. i like that in this one.

I made a league on CBSsports.com that only consist of SEC teams so you can only have 6 teams total. I was pretty fortunate in the way that everyone else drafted to be honest and it is showing because currently I am looking like Bama vs. Duke My roster is pretty gross: 2 QB - Mallet and GMAC, 3 RB - Trent, Jeff Demps and Mike Dyer, 4 WR - Julio, Darvin Adams, Brandon Heavens (Miss. St) and Kris Durham (GA), 2 TE - DJ Williams (ARK) and pick up P. Dial tomorrow morning as a walk on, 1 kicker - Wes Byrum and 2 Defense/ST LSU and Kentucky.

FYI Gmac has only thrown 5 int in his last 17 starts.
Not a bad stat at all IMO.

I was in a Fantasy league briefly. Case Keenum was my qb. So much for that.

This weekend I'd take McElroy without question. If most assumptions are right, Bama's pass rush will give Mallett fits all afternoon. I figure he will put up decent numbers but will throw a pick or two so for this weekend it's a no-brainer.

Between the two I would usually take Mallett (for fantasy purposes only) until he plays a tough D that will pressure him in which case it is better to switch to a game manager. McElroy won't put up huge numbers but he won't get his team, or your fantasy team for that matter, beaten.

i dunno.
the choice here is really.

A. An over hyped Michigan washout with a bad O-Line.
B. A very inteligent Game manager with a good O-line, who by the way has never lost a game.

Kinda like having to choose between a night of dunken shagging with the Sweedish Bikini Team
or a game of Rushan Ruolette with the Auburn Alpaqua Breading Team.
